Top Use Cases for Shelly Plus 1

Top Use Cases for Shelly Plus 1

Shelly Plus 1 supports 12vdc, has dry contacts, and SELV isolation. This makes the product ideal for:

  • Garage door control

  • Low voltage dry contact sensors

  • Control of contactors

  • Switching voltages different from the device’s power supply (example, switching 120vac while powered by 24vdc).

Note: Shelly Plus 1 requires separate power supply for the dry contact relay, meaning both the L and I terminals must be populated for the device to work. If powering Shelly Plus 1 via 12vdc, the 12v (rather than L) and I terminals must be powered.
